Well, I had my taxes done yesterday. I still have the nausea to prove it. Is it possible to OD on Tums? I feel whoozy. My tax return was WAYYY down from last year. About $800. down. They said it's because I made more money and paid less. "How is that?" I ask. I haven't changed my W4 so I should have actually paid more because the percentage is still the same, right? Oh, no. What they neglect to tell you is that tax rates change every year. So don't believe those theiving bastards! (aka the Government). They tell you taxes are down, interests are down, etc., etc....yeah, yeah! Save it. All that hooy may be true but your tax returns are down, too. And here's what they don't throw out there....they tweak the tax tables yearly to fit their agenda. They may be giving some of us checks in May and calling it "economic stimulus", but all they really did is adjust the tax tables, thereby lowering most tax returns and sending you the balance later. Trust me. They're not giving you anything special or extra. Vote for Barrack Obama then bombard him and any other government official with letters, petitions, whatever to stop messing with our heads and leave our money where it belongs....in our pockets!....So we can go give it to the oil companies. Thanks for letting me vent.
