Happy Halloween!

Hello all...I'm the devil today. And what a cute devil am I? And a fitting costume, too because I feel like Hell! That won't stop me from taking my rugrats to beg for candy, though. Before I pick them up from school today I have to go get something from Wal -Mart...dressed as the devil. How fun. Bet I see a few people I know! LOL. Hope everyone is have a great time today.

There wasn't much on the "strange news" today that was funny except some idot got arrested for trowing pickles at a guy...Crazy world we live in, huh? Ya' gotta' love it. I'm sick. My cold medicine is wearing off....and speaking of cold medicine...a word of warning: Do not drink wine within a couple of hours of taking cold pills. I did that last night and while I was enjoying my book and my wine, I found my mind drifting just a bit...I was thinking, "I feel really nice...a little fuzzy around the edges...yeah...oh. Wait. How long ago did I take those pills...?" Apparently not quite long ago enough..Ah well, lesson learned. I slept like the dead.

Shreds of Wisdom and Cheese

Something to ponder: Let's tax our brains for a moment and do some math, shall we? On the label of my 24 oz bottle of Cherry Coke the nutrition facts section lists the serving size as 8 oz. This package is 24 oz. Therefore, there are 3 servings per container. With me so far? 8X3=24...Gotcha. The label states that there are 100 calories per serving and 310 calories per container. Huh? What? Ok...I'm no genius, but last time I checked, 100X3=300. Conspiracy? Maybe.......

If you happen to be in the Chicago area, take your umbrella to work with you, folks....it may just start raining....LUGGAGE! Seriously! A cargo door opened on a plane flying over Chicago and dropped a couple of bags. They still haven't been found. Crazy world we live in, huh? Got 2 words for you, people....Carry On. Think about it. Sorry. Don't really have a lot to say today. I'm usually full of it. Must be because I'm rather tired today. Oh...I did look at the cbs news website today. That's how I catch up....no time for TV. TV kinda' sucks anyway. On the site they were talking about training Iraqis before coming home. Is it just me or does seem like a bad idea to others? Hmmm...these are people that will live in our country and train and go to college and work and whatever....all the while they could be terrorists biding their time just acting like normal, friendly citizens.....first we train them here, now we're training them there. And I'm sure we're arming them as well. I hate politics. I'll bitch a lot about politics. Maybe tomorrow, though. I have to get some work done.
