And I don't mean the cat in the hat. Or a cat that is fat. Or cat on a welcome mat. I wanna' be the cat! I want to curl up all day and nap! I want to be the one who's catered to and petted. I want to lounge by the sunny window all day and purrrrr the day away. At least until spring. Last night it rained then snowed and rained and snowed together and last night's slush became todays ice. Today, I stepped out my door and almost killed myself slipping on said ice. Then, when I finally did leave for work, the road was cruddy. And to top it off, everyone's got the flu around here..(imagine that! I work in a hospital.) I think I'm in denial about my own health because all I've really wanted to do lately is sleep and my head is killing me. Please, God. Don't let me have gotten that damn flu shot for nothing! So, for today and maybe tomorrow....I wanna' be the cat.

Sounds like if you WERE a cat, you'd be like my cat, who just can't stand going outside when thre's ice or snow. Which is a problem, since that's where she goes potty!
